Note From Us: December 2015

November was over in a flash, and now the holidays are upon us! To all the students who played or sung their final recital - congratulations! To those who are about to audition for music courses for commencement in 2016, we wish you well. If you want to check your repertoire choices, or ask about fingering or breathing, we welcome you to do so now!

We're deep in planning for several big projects next year: a meet-and-greet event included! If that's your speed, please keep your eyes peeled for invites in the first few months of the year. We'll also be launching 'Postcards', a series of chats about studying music overseas. If this is you, get in touch! In other parts, we'll be talking music business, and chamber music.

But there's still a month to go! We'll be introducing a new REHEARSAL mentor, and chatting with some brilliant musical minds. I'll be overseas, chatting to Australian musicians who are making big waves in the European scene too - look out for photos! As always, if you've got something to say email us at rehearsalmagazine@gmail.com. We can't wait to hear from you!

Have a happy and restful month.

Until next time,

Megan Steller

Editor, REHEARSALmagazine
